New ECU

I want to get the Hondata tune, but I'm torn between getting a second ECU so the stock one well… remains stock.

I found a few used ECU options online, but was wondering if they all are plug and play?

I was thinking of doing this as well. How much are you seeing them for down there?

Thanks

I have seen everything from $75 - $800.

Currently on ebay, nothing over $200

If you get another ecm, from ebay or a junkyard for example, it would for sure need to be programmed by a dealer to work with your RDX's immobilizer and then I'm pretty sure your old ecm wouldn't work after the new one is programmed.

Just send the new one to Hondata and have them flash it with their generic flash for the RDX....... they do sell their own ECM for the RDX for something like $7-800...
