Mixing (SoCa) 91 octane with 76 gas station 100 octane
I was talking with Sean Church from Church Automotive yesterday after I got the reflash done and he was telling me how his shop had increased the boost on one of their RDX's, filled the tank with 100 octane, and tuned it to run more than 300 horsepower.
So I looked up local gas stations that sell anything stronger than the pitiful 91 octane available in SoCal. Well, many of the 76 stations sell 100 octane. It's fairly pricey, but I think it is worth trying to fix a good 93 or 94 octane to see how the RDX reacts.
I included an attachment below I found on the mix ratio in order to get an overall balance of 93 to 94 octane. Enjoy!

digital, I think price would be a concern filling your whole tank up with 100 octane at $6.00/gal.
I don't know the mixture ratio, but I am sure it would be a lot cheaper to mix and get a 94 octane or higher.
There are a couple of threads here, search for the user name I hate cars, he is very informative. He has a couple threads on mixing 100 with 91 and the benefits.
Hope this helps.

I found the thread. its a turbo 3rd gen asking about mixing.

I put in 6 gallons of 100 octane of VP Racing fuel today. $7.99 per gallon! Based on the chart I attached to an earlier post under this topic I estimate the current octane to be at 94 based on the RDX having a 18 gallon tank and the other 12 gallons to be 91 octane. So combined with the Hondata reflash and now 94 octane I was curious to see the results. Thank fully it was also only in the low 80's here as compared to in the 100's last week.
Overall I would describe the 91 vs. 94 octane difference as the engine feeling sharper. Combined with the Hondata there is absolutely no mistaking the increased power. Too bad the 100 octane wasn't cheaper than $7.99/gallon. Just the 6 gallons was $48.00!! Eeee.

I tried this over the weekend (mixed a 5 gallon drum of 100 octane with my 91 octane) and the engine feels even more responsive than I thought it would be...
Just like HABU says above, there is no mistaking the increased power. FUN!!! Too bad it is too expensive to make it a habit!
