Mbc Anyone?

Been thinking about whether or not its worth getting a Mbc for this car so my question is has anyone gotten a mbc for their Rdx? I know Project Rdx had a Mbc, just trying to see if anyone on here has gotten one...

interesting thought ... i am not familiar with the RDX turbo setup (only owned the car 2 days) but i'm very familiar with turbo setup's in general.

if using a mbc, i would think both a map clamp and boost cut defender would be needed to make any significant gains. again, i'm not sure on how conservative the stock tune may be, so fuel cut may not even be an issue!

I've heard that the tune is very conservative and the ecu is very sensitive. From all the research I've been doing, seems like a mbc isn't really worth the money since gains would be very very minimal.

I wonder if the RDX has a MAP sensor since it's a mass air car.

An MBC might be a decent idea, but you would probably want to datalog what happens to see if anything gets messed up.

A manual boost controller will not work on the RDX. It pisses the ECU right off, which quickly retards the timing and dumps even more fuel into an already pig rich mixture.

will most likely be needed. no ecu will work with a mbc this day in age. several key pieces of equipment need to be added to "mask" what the ecu see's.

in my experience with Subaru's, MBC's are dangerous. They can do much more harm than good. Simply increasing boost but not altering the air/fuel mixture or anything like that is going to do harm in the long-run.
