Magnaflow 51519 downpipe

Has anyone heard or tried this, i just got a 2007 rdx and a few days later had it flashed and now im hooked.

this downpipe looks interesting and has a cat in it. i asked magnaflow if the photo is an accurate representation and they said it is, has increased flow, but could not say if it increased power at all.

Curious as to why you would want to change the factory downpipe to an aftermarket one that also has cat in it. The power gain would be minimal......

Everyone that changes the downpipe does so to achieve a much better exhaust flow, and in doing so nets a substantial increase in power.

Check out the offerings most use in this category, such as the one from RV6 performance https://www.rv6-p.com/rdx/rdx-1st-gen/

Then, look into the Flash Pro which is a lot better than the flash....plus you can eliminate any check lights you'll get from exhaust modifications

Cheers

You are right, but being in Canada i was also looking at the overall cost from the RV6 one (shipped from the U.S) and the Magnaflow, (shipped from 40 minutes away from me) with shipping and duties the Magnaflow one is half the price for me with the 20% off coupon they offer.

Was interested to see if there was a massive difference.

It’s basically a oem replacement get the RV6 or don’t waste you’re money 💰.

The labor cost alone is very high since it’s a very involved part swap.

Trust me mechanics hate doing our down-pipe/mid-pipe it’s a pain to get out then re/install.

Fyi, the heat shield won’t go back on after...
