How many of us will NOT take the CAI when modding?
I'm not as skeptical about the low initial baseline (although its odd) as I am your claimed increase. I've been present at a lot of dyno pulls, and usually see results more inline of the Hondata dyno.
Hey, if your numbers are valid, that's great. But to be honest, I've always been skeptical of manufacturer-supplied numbers in automotive aftermarket equipment, because they're almost always inflated due to urealistically favourable testing conditions, etc.
The fact that Hondata has no interest in selling the intake makes their dyno result showing the intake power gain, or lack thereof, a lot more believable to me.

I've been running Church's exhaust reflash for a year and it's been awesome. It's unfortunate that he isn't able to manufacture the exhaust because of cost issues. Though it seems we'll have a few options soon which I am looking forward to. I just updated the Hondata flash with the 7200rpm limiter version and what a difference 400revs makes. Now I don't hit the limiter so easily since it really pulls hard now on the top end, and with the CP-E intake they make 1st gear scream for sure. No CEL's or problems. It fits perfectly, I have to give props to those guys at CP-E. Can't wait for the heat shield from them as well. I recommend the intake, but you definately get to hear the Darth Vador effect all the time, which is music to my ears, but beware if you don't want the extra noise, then just opt for the reflash, it's still sweet. And I did drive with/without the CAI with the reflash and there is definately a faster responding, harder pull, at all rpms's with it! With a DP and full exhaust the RDX is going to be sick!

I wish I was the lucky RDX. I ended up being a sort of beta tester and was just waiting to put on Shawn's exhaust. I could have kept that flash, but I really wanted the increased rev limit so I had it flashed again. I'm told the two flashes are pretty close anyhow, and besides the limiter increase I don't notice any performance loss with this flash.
Sorry for offtopic, but do You really have Shawn's exhaust installed and is there a single chance to buy smth from them?
Here's what Hondata say on their website:

The exhaust + Church Auto reflash adds 40 HP over stock. Read about it on the Temple of VTEC. This reflash is only available for purchase from Church Automotive Testing.
