Blow off valve?

Hey eceryone,

When I purchased my '07 RDX a couple weeks ago I asked the Acura service tech if there are any toys I can add to the motor/engine/turbo, I asked about a blow off valve to sum it up. I know its not a performance upgrade, but damnit it just sounds cool. He told me that the turbocharger in our RDX's are to unique and modifying the turbo at all would hinder performance... is this correct? Can I not add anything to hear that beautiful sound? I did see that there are intake systems available for the RDX though, I know I'd be able to get a better sound of the spooling turbo from one and a possible hp increase of about 5-10. Your advice is very much appreciated!

I would recommend against any BOV that vents to atmosphere in vehicles that use MAF based fueling.

Thanks, it's still a better option to get a CAI right? Not only will I get the sound I desire, but I'll get the extra 8 HP?
