analyzing first datalog

So, this is my precious first datalog. I figured I would set a very simple first tuning goal for myself. It is this: To determine how close I was under normal (but heavy) driving conditions to my injector duty limit, with stock Hondata tune + my silly intake mod (K&N drop filter + snorkel replaced with 3" ducting).

It looks like, making sure that I had a chance to redline in 2nd, and some push earlier, that the closest I got was 58%. Obviously I need to learn how to drive a datalogging cycle. However, it does show that I get up to like 14.1, 14.2 boost as it is?

In any case, here's my very first datalog. Thoughts are appreciated, as well as instructions on how I should approach analyzing myself! I can't quite figure out how to bring up the fuel low window in Flashpro in one of the instruction videos to check A/F ratio, but since I was checking injector duty at redline in 2nd, and accomplished that, well, hey!

Aww, isn't this cute.

Okay. These are vastly better. I made sure to redline at least once in each, and got a log of high revs, lots of WOT both in D and S.

I promise, I do not ordinarily drive this hard!

looks like 78% was the max ? and that's with what ever you've got in it at the moment. and that's before you raise the boost more.

That is with nothing but flashpro using the stock performance tune, K&N drop-in, and the intake snorkel replaced with 3" performance ducting. The filter box and the connection from the filter box to the intake is untouched.

afr adjusted for k&n drop-in + flashpro.zip

All right, TheWrench let me know I was running a little lean. So he helped me out with fixing the top end A/F ratio. Apparently 12 or just under is a good goal on FI. Anyway, many cheers to him. But anyway, here's a contribution - a not unsafe map for Flashpro with K&N drop in filter. Datalogs to follow.

I know you are excited about this k&n snorkel mod. But I dont this it plays a major role.

I will be interested in seeing mine when I get that CP-E on it.

Hondata says it should be fine. As a bonus I have 93 octane where I live.

Reflash - Acura RDX

Hoping to have my intake, iC and exhaust on next week.
We shall see!

Excited? I don't think it does much. I think it's a much milder mod than getting a proper short ram air. Maybe it does a little.

So, I got that RV-6 with high-flow cat installed, and it's certainly something you can feel. Here's a datalog from the 50 mile trip home - no CEL yet. Odd, because it was part city and part highway - I expected that to be a drive cycle.

drop-in + downpipe.zip

Getting 600cc injectors.

yes yes he is. and this is why I tell everyone get injectors...
if the injector is this close to static (always open) you lose control of the fuel aspect of tuning. then what do you do if a cylinder runs lean??? could get lucky might be buying so of that there motor...$$$$. ouch

1800.00 motor

369.00 4 brand new 800cc injectors!!!!

once vit viper and doug get the kinks worked out you'll be looking at 280whp with flash pro injectors downpipe and a better intercooler.

and that's on the stock cat-back!!! so it will be quiet!!!
