My 2007 RDX calls for a 35 series battery stock. For some reason it looks like my vehicle has a 24 series battery in it, and it doesnt look like its running out of room for it. Is this a normal upgrade for this year of vehicle? Do you think the battery tray was replaced to support this larger battery?

Also it looks like my battery is from 5/22 and is an actual Acura battery. Yet when my mechanic tested it, he said it failed testing. To me it sounds like I may have a power draw causing the battery to fail earlier. What should I check on the vehicle to make sure something is not causing a power draw? I bought the vehicle off the previous owner, so I dont have warranty on the battery.

 

If it's an acura battery with that early of a date, you should take it back to acura to warranty it

 

Can I though without the original battery invoice? I have no paper work for the battery itself and Im not the owner who bought it 2 years ago.
