2007 air tube

So found this issue tonight. Any thoughts on a solution besides completely replacing the whole thing? My CAI coupling keeps sliding off and it's now stalling my car out pretty frequently.

that sucks. looks like you went a little over board on tightening some clamps. or maybe it was a crappy plastic mold...? i might have a spare lower intake. try to put an inner ring in and rivet it in place.

your best bet is new/used OEM part though.

Thanks fellas for all the help. Yeah i didnt think i put the clamps too tight but maybe i dont know my own strength... I laughed at the west virginia chrome idea, but it actually is viable. I was trying to find any alternative besides replacing that part as i didnt want to try to dig down to the bottom area to pull that piece out. Looks like i'll try a combination of the above ideas thanks again for all the input!!!

Good afternoon,

You could use t-bolt claps and plumbers glue.
