What do you think of coloring the roof rack spars? I used some Contact paper in brushed silver. It's not holding well, so of it'll come. Still, I like the look. maybe not that bright of a silver, but the idea is good.

I like it. It provides some contrast. It goes great with the chrome handles and the running boards.

I like it. I was initially going to paint mine chrome (albeit the reverse - what you stock black i'd paint chrome and what you have silver i keep black) but was afraid they'd peel as part of use or get dull due to the sun. I think brushed silver like you did looks better.

Here's some close ups of the peeling. Contact paper needed to be streched to follow the curves of the roof rack spar.





It's coming off today.

You might be right about the paint not holding up Scryana. It's an area that might get too much traffic.

That looks neat. I think I'd like the whole thing to be chrome. I think the RDX just looks better with roof racks. I have a '07 and mine are starting to fade. I'm thinking I need to apply some 'Back to Black' on all of the black plastic trim. Any advise is appreciated
