RDX oil change 7,500

I have a 2008 RDX and the maintenance schedule states replace oil initially at 7,500 then at 15,000, then at 15,000 intervals. Is this accurate. Can the synthetic oil really last that long? Thank you.

7,500-Mile Service
7,500 miles marks the first Acura RDX oil change interval, plus tire rotation and a multi-point inspection, including:

Air Cleaner Filter
Air Conditioning Compressor
Air Conditioning Refrigerant
Battery Condition
Brake Lines, Hoses, and Connections
Exhaust Pipe and Muffler
Front Brake Disc/Pads, Calipers
Rear Brake Disc/Pads
Steering Gear Box, Linkage & Boots/Lower Arm Ball Joint, Upper Arm Ball Joint
Suspension Mounting Bolts
Vacuum Hose

15,000-Mile Service
At the 15,000 miles Acura RDX service interval, it’s time for another oil and filter change, tire rotation, and another multi-point inspection. Other maintenance tasks include:

Inspect exhaust system
Inspect brake lines, hoses & connections
