RDX having an extistential crisis

hello all :/

my 2011 rdx keeps having intermitent issues like every two weeks or so… first it was knock sensor codes, then engine managment issues n basic electrical mishaps, P2101 codes, now its the throttle body.. i just installed a K&N Typhoon intake after saving for so long (currently have a bsby boy otw and im saving all my paychecks; paid for intake with detailing side gig money), tinted the windows, done a lot of interior touch-ups and additions, as well as some stickers… its in the shop every two to three weeks with the same issues or a new one. i really love this car, its the best car ive ever owned, and im so proud that i could finally afford something a couple of steps up from my ‘93 ranger, and i just dont wanna lose that love and hope for the car because its constantly in the shop… if i wanted something unreliable, i’d buy an early 2000’s mercedes/bmw/audi (no hate, jus facts)… idk what to do, most of these incidents happen when it rains/been raining out, we may think that may be related to the issues springing up.. do any of yall know wth is going on or whats causing these issues?

Have you taken a look at the battery terminals and wiring harness? A bunch of electrical issues associated with rain/damp may point to a poorly connected battery/connection.

yes, battery terminals are clean! I make sure to clean them whenever I wash my car.. I don’t know about the wiring harness, though, I haven’t really peeked at that yet, but that might be why it’s having issues

check your battery grounds. One is under the passenger side engine mount, the other is under the front left wheel well. will have to remove air intake and battery to gain access. Mine were rusted and kept giving me battery and alternator problems. None since I checked on those. I also added larger alternator and upgraded my power lines (big 3 upgrade)
