I have a 2007 RDX almost 51,000KM on it now and I am planning to do service outside of dealer (first time).

I understand there aren't many choices on oil and the guy from Acura tells me I can only use the following:
1. Acura's
2. Mobil 1 (isn't this what Acura uses?)
3. Pennzoil Platinum Synthetic

So I bought 6 quarts of the Pennzoil just to try out since it's on sale ($5.99 CAD / quart), and I also bought a Bosch filter (it's also on sale: http://www.autopartsway.ca/PartDetai.../pagenum1/tabS)

Have anybody tried this oil and the filter before on their RDX? Am I doing this right? Also, what other filters do you guys recommend because I don't know much about these things and I only read online that Bosch and K&N are good. Thanks!
