If I were you id take it to acura but if you want to do it yourself im sure there are threads on how to do it, it probably takes 2 quarts of transmission fluid, there are tons of websites and automotive stores that sell it but again if I were you id make sure to use only OEM fluid.

Did my transmission fluid change today at 50k miles. I bought mine CPO at 24k miles. I think the dealer replaced all the fluids because everything came out pretty clean. I did 2 flushes since the fluid came out pretty clean. Not much residues stuck to the magnetic bolt. I say it would take more like 3.5 quartz to replace not 2 quartz. I bought the whole case of transmission fluids from a local Honda dealer. Not sure what I'm gonna do with the remaining 4 bottles. I'm gonna wait until another 50k miles before another flush. BTW, the bolt is a beotch to take off. I had to borrow a lift from a friend to get leverage.

Yeap, I just did mine today too. It definitely takes more than 2 quarts. Mine took roughly 3.6~7 quarts. Might be the ground where the car stands is not completely level. That Transmission fill bolt is OMG tight! Guess the tech at Acura did the trans fluid change has more muscles than me :-P

manman007, I would use the OEM trans fluid. They cost less than any trans repair bill ;-) You could either get those fluid from Acura or Honda dealer, same thing, different labels. Just like kingkong222, I just bought the whole case with 12 bottles just in case.

Although the trans fluid came out from the drain hole is pretty clean and I see almost no residues on the magnetic bolt, the fluid change makes the car shifts so much better man. Silky smooooooth lol
