Leather treatment stuck in seat holes

The other day I was treating my seats with MacGuire's leather cleaner/treatment, and it seeped into the tiny perforation holes in my black leather seats. I stopped as soon as I saw it doing this, but the little bit that's there is annoying. Has anyone had this happen? Any ideas as to how to get rid of the stuff? It looks like I have peanut butter smeared on my seats (or worse). lol Thx!

Use a gel cleaner and only apply a very small amount to the cloth; not the leather.

Thanks for the assistance. What sort of gel cleanser would you recommend using? I don't want to use anything too harsh.

I seem to have solved my leather treatment in seat holes problem. I got some foaming Woolite upholstery and fabric cleaner; applied it to a clean towel and worked it into the seats and it took it right out. Has anyone tried the Zymol leather treatment on our seats? I just ordered a bottle. I figure it's not as light colored as the Maguire's stuff.

I bought some of the Zymol a week ago, but haven't used it yet.

I never thought about the perforations doing this. Since I have taupe leather maybe I should get McGuires. Hmm.

In my last TL I had Taupe seats, so the Maguire's worked fine. Maybe give it a try on a small out of the way area; it might work well with taupe.
