How do you separate the padded armrest from the lid?

My armrest padding had started bubbling. There is a vendor on eBay that sells repalcement leather ones. 737Jock (I could be wrong on this and cannot view his pics because company blocks imaegshack) had a thread on replacing the entire lid, but someone asked how to remove the padded piece and no one has answered so I thought I make a new thread. That person, IIRC, removed the 3 screws on the bottom but doesn't know how they separate. Any insights?

Sorry about the pics. :becauseimageshack:

The hinge is sandwiched between the base and the padded cover. Remove the 3 screws in the base and pry it off, as directed in the DIY.

Then the 2 screws at the top of the hinge will release the cover. From there you can see the staples that retain the vinyl and padding.

The lock assembly is held to the cover by 9 visible screws.
