Has anyone mounted a hithc mount cargo box on an RDX like a Thule Terrapin? If so, what type of hitch do you have and was any extender bar needed (a number on the board seem to have the HiddenHitch)?

I am also wondering if anyone has thoughts on these boxes generally - e.g. do they negatively affect stability, etc. It seems as though they might provide advantages over a roof box (easier load/unload, lower clearance for garages, etc).

I have a hidden hitch with an 2" extension. I dont have a box though just one of those trays. It doesn't seems to alter the ride at all. I would rather have it than a top mount box but a small trailer would be the best option.
