brizey;

Yup, thats the one.. they're real bright, those 55watters! http://www.retrosolutionsllc.com/ser...VERSION/Detail

I gotta now try to adjust my fogs to focus a bit more in the distance. The factory adjustment is focused a bit too much downward in front of the vehicle for my likeing.

I'll attempt a night pic VeNeNo.

Thanks! I need to decide if I want to spend the extra $ for these over the HIDNY ones that are only $75. They might not be as bright, but I am not sure how much that matters to me--they will still be as bright or brighter than the halogens with better color.

I live in Dallas. It hardly rains here, let alone gets foggy. I think I have had my brights on maybe three or four times in the three years I have had the RDX. And I have never turned my fogs on to actually use them.

For the fogs, I just want them to work as well as stock and match the color better.

Well, it's done. Took about and hour and a half, and I did everything by myself. The dealer's $130 to change the foglight assembly is absurd. I could do it in 30 minutes now by myself. The HID's install took more time since you have to figure out how to mount the brackets for the ballasts. The passenger side was easy--the mounting screw they send actually threaded into and existing threaded hole in the frame. Didn't even half to use the nut. I ziptied the connectors to the ballasts so they have no chance of coming loose. Sorry, no pictures, I was in kind of a hurry. I'll take some night time light pictures tonight if I get a chance. The 6000K fogs are more blue than the headlights, but certainly not a ricey blue. I like them. The only weird thing is that the new driver's side foglight assembly has no wear and tear on the glass so it is perfectly clear, and the passenger side is not, so it diffuses the light a bit more. I think the pictures will show it.

Thanks for this wspy! I was able to install my 35 watt 3000k HIDs.

The tricky part was removing the front bumper with no instructions. Basically needed to remove the fasteners above the grille, inside the wheel well, and connecting to the splash guard. The bumper detaches at the tongue-in-groove connections around the headlight. Everything else went smoothly.

Lights look great but those exposed connections would make me a little nervous.

Same here, I usually wrap them up with electrical tape just to play it safe.

Did you replace the low beams, high beams or the DRLs? Because of the picture at night time all the lights look the same brightness :p

Sorry, I just had the bumper off again (had to replace a bad ballast for my fogs), but no pics. It is really not very hard. There are 4 screws (two are visible in the front of the wheel wells, and two are straight down from those under the car). And there are a bunch of push clips. For the push clips, you have to pull the center part out, then pull the whole thing out. There are maybe 6 along the top between the headlights under the hood, and maybe 9 underneath along the bottom. For the bottom ones, pay attention to what they go through--some go though the bumper and front air dam, and some go through the bumper, front air dam, and into the frame. The only other connections are snaps around the headlights. It really is not very hard. I have done it myself maybe 4 times now. I would order a few extra clips just to have them in case you break them taking them off.
