Can't remove ECU

Want the reflash and read the guide on Hondata. Sounds pretty straightforward, but I can't even get the connections off of the ECU. Guide on Hondata says to use tabs on underside of each connector. Should be a simple push up on tab and pop connector off, right? Well, I already broke one of the tabs so am I missing something, doing it wrong or is it years of dirt, heat, etc that has caked the connector on?

I believe you just have to pull up harder to pop the connector out. Don't yank on the tab, but use some force.

I had the same problem as you did. I tried to remove it at night and couldn't see what I was doing. I tried again the next day and was able to get it out.

I'll try again, but remember that I already broke one of the tabs completely off so shouldn't that connector just come off now?
