Air filter replace DIY

I noticed that our manual does not say anuthing on how to replace air-filter. Is it so difficult that the owners manual does not show you how to do it? All cars I had own had instructions on how to replace the filter. If its not difficult, anyone has DIY steps ? (I searched and could not find)

Doesn't look too hard, did it on my ex 00 crv (which was a pain as I had to unbolt a crap load in order to open the cabin filter tray), on the prelude it wasn't bad quite easy.

I was asking about "engine air-filter", not a "cabin" air-filter.

thats what I was thinking. It just kind of odd that owners manual does not explain how to do it... they tell you how to change oil, but not the air-filter. So I guess its as easy as it looks (I thought there might be some difficulty with it)

My RDX is coming to a year of ownership, and am considering replacing the air filter. Anyone replace theirs annually?

I don't know if it's necessary, but I just had mine changed after the B16 service. You might want to consider getting a re-useable K&N for a bit more but I hear that this filter only needs to be cleaned once every 50,000 miles!

i just did mine today....and its just 4 screws to take off.

its easier to take off the intercooler cover (4 plastic screws as well) so you can move the intake tube to the side.

paid my dealer $28 for the filter.
