Smile Turn off Audio

How do I turn the voice talking completely off in my 2008 RDX, I mean fully off. It drives me crazy how it needs to voice notify me when someone is calling, doors open, or my seatbelt isnt fastened yet. Its enough for me to just visually see it. thanks!

I also have a 2008 RDX. For the bluetooth phone "voice", you can set it to ring a tone instead of using a voice. For the seatbelt voice, I'm not aware of a way to change that. For doors open, there is no voice -- just the MID "door open" alert.

You are stuck with the "nanny." The only option is to change the voice male or female. Believe me, if there was a way to shut that bitch up, I would have pulled the plug on her the first month of ownership.

The only time my 2008 talks to me is when I use the blue tooth ......no other time!

While driving, unbuckle your seatbelt. You'll hear the nanny.

don't know if this will help you but if you hit the setup button , there is an option for voice volume...turn it off... or silent. You don't hear her again. at least this is what I did. Let me knowif you have any questions.
