Is there a way for the name/phone number to appear on the big tech screen when a call is coming in?

Right now I just get "handsfree" on the small dash screen.
For the kind of money this package cost, you would think so.

That's so wrong for the price that we pay for the tech package.

I mean, come on, it's 2011. Time to get with the program. My aftermarket VW nav system shows the number and that was less than $500.

 

Are you in Canada? there's a known issue with Rogers and they way the call is sent to the phone. Something about the phone receiving a + or something like that first that screws it up. It used to work fine with my Bell phone, then the company switched us to Rogers and bam - no more caller ID.

 

I'm in New Jersey, USA and using Verizon.

To me, it's not acceptable that the caller ID only shows up on the small screen on the dashboard, when other bluetooth/nav systems it shows up on the big screen.

 

Different manufactures from system to system.

 

what's so wrong is continuing to state that it doesn't have it when it does...

So it shows up on some peoples RDX?

 

It only shows up on my MFD on the dashboard. IMO for the cost of the tech package the caller ID with name should appear on the larger nav screen.

 

Only shows up on the small screen. True across all Acuras
