Tech or No-Tech (Audio System)?

So I am going to be buying an audio system (probably will wait for an 09 since I am hoping for the ipod controls and usb port). My question is, does the non-tech version of the rdx have a good audio system? I have heard everyone talk about how the tech versions audio system is the best, but is the non-tech still pretty good? I don't care to much for the dvd-audio and I already have a garmin, so I just want to make certain that people with the non-tech are satisifed with their speakers.

im confused....you are buying an audio sytstem and want to know how the regular audio system is as well?

if you are going aftermarket it really wont matter?

anyways.....i have a base...id say im satisfied...id say the biggest overall difference and improvement from the base to els is the added center channel in the front, and most importantly, the added twiddlers in the rear C pillars. In the base model, the sound in the back seat isnt nearly as good as up front.

but overall, the power is good, the bass is good, both the base and els systems lack a Mid eq control which hurts but you can find decent balance between the bass n treb.

overall, yes, satisfied...enough to keep me happy. up front, i really dont have any complaints, its the rear sound that sucks, but im the only driver of my car so i dont really care.

i doubt ull get an integrated ipod control when the dealer installed accesory is like 400-600 bucks for the link cable. If anything, they may throw in a usb connector since the 09 tsx will have it.

yeah i was just looking for a comparison between the tech and non-tech audio systems. You pretty much settled it for me. I will get the 09 non-tech unless the 09 rdx doesn't have the usb port like the 09 tsx has. Thanks for your help.
