RealTime Traffic Subscription

Does this run out after 90 days too? What does it cost per month to keep it? Any sweet deals on it like the $77/year deal?

Thanks,

Greg

I think it's something like $12 for the year but can't remember. They don't knock the price down that much.

it's about $50/year and I didn't think it was worth it. I tried it for a few days, but it wasn't that helpful. Of course, now that XM has merged so many of it's traffic/weather channels, it may be more helpful now...

$12/yr sounded good. $50/yr? I think I would pass too. My iphone can display the same info, I guess I just did not want to have to take it out of my pocket and look at it. Lazy.

I just looked through my old notes and greg is right it was about $50. $77 for XM and $124.88 for XM Radio & Traffic.

Good thing there is a 90-day trial. If I love it, then I guess I will have accept the price.

Traffic is $4/month in addition to your base XM subscription. The quality of the traffic information varies a lot from city to city, so it may be more worthwhile to some people than others. Many (most?) people are spending thousands of dollars per year on gasoline alone, so $48/year for a car expense is not that excessive.
