Question about RDX audio settings

Hey Guys,

Wondering if you should keep the Dolby Pro Logic II on all of the time? Also, what are generally the best settings (bass, treble, etc.) for the XM radio/ Thanks for any info.

It's totally up to you. There's no right or wrong answer. The PLII does do some processing on 2ch sound, and sometimes it sounds better, sometimes worse. I turn it on or off depending purely on how I think it sounds for that source or program. As far as the rest of the settings, again, how can we help? Everyone has different tastes in how they like music equalized. I personally like music equalized flat. Others want more bass or treble. Only you can come up with the right answer here.

I like it for electronic music. Don't like it for non-electronic or talk. I pretty much just leave it on.

Thanks...Dolby Pro Logic II doesn't seem to help much on some of the stations, particulary oldies!

Hmm... interesting. Someone posted a question on whether or not the Pro Logic should be turned off when playing DVD-A discs. I tried to reply to it and now the thread is missing both the question post as well as my 'reply' to it.

So, just in case that person is still looking for an answer:

The Pro Logic has no impact upon the playback of DVD-A. ELS shuts down the Pro Logic in favor of the encoding of the music on the DVD. So you can leave the Pro Logic turned on all the time without worrying if it will screw up your DVD-A playback.
