Please reply... nav screen issues... what does yours do??

I wonder if I am on to something...

in my RDX, when I press the night button, the screen gets a little darker, but it does not inverse (i.e., white changes to black) like it does in other Honda/Acuras (even other RDX's). What does your do? What year?

Brightness or Contrast adjustment?

Have you tried using the dial when in back-up mode to increase/decrease brightness?

it is not that. With most nav screens (even portables), when switching between day and night modes, the screen entirely inverses itself. in my rdx, the screen just gets dimmer....

This is a user-configurable option. The day/night button (or headlight use) will dim the screen. But you can also, under setup configure different color options indpendently for day/night. This can create the "inversing" you describe. You coud even have "night for day" if you like.

Yes, I chose different color schemes for day and night. The setup screen gives you lots of options.

Holy smokes... I never thought about that! I just ran out to the loaner TL I have and put both day and night on beige, and it looks crappy like my car! Maybe there's some hope for my backup camera after all!!!! Thanks Trademark!
