PC Card for factory use only?

I saw that the 2007 RDX w/Tech Package has a PC card slot installed by the DVD-ROM storage for the navi system. Has anyone tried using this to play MP3 files on the audio system? I presume it's not an option, as they'd advertise it otherwise. I know the Honda CR-V EX-L's PC card slot can be used for MP3 audio. I think I'll try it out anyway.

Don't know the answer but have another related question. Where is the DVD drive for the navi system located in the RDX?

Have you tried using the PC card slot yet for MP3 audio?

The DVD drive is located right below the cup holders in the center console. There is an access panel on the passenger side. The PC card slot is on there too. No it cannot be used for MP3s like some other honda models. It is used for tranferring customer entered information like address books and such when the nav unit has to be replaced.

Hmm, I'm wondering if I can use the PC card slot to upload my Address book of about 200 entries? It would be nice if I had not only phone numbers stored on the nav but also addresses. What format do I use? Is it a text file or a binary file? Is there a utility to read the file or generate the file?
