Ok so i pulled the battery to install my cp-e intake.. when i put it back in .. i used the radio card in the owners manual. The gps code worked but the radio code did not. Can i use my vin and call a local dealer to get the radio code?

 

Yes. There are a few old threads that explain the same issue. I remember something about having to hold down 1 & 6 to get the serial number of the unit to give the dealer.

Ya the dealer gave me the sequence. Weird the radio must have been swapped out at some point. The xm trial was activated under the orginal radio also. I am going to gave to call on that tomarow.

 

Yup, happens a lot. With all the mods you plan on doing, definitely pencil that code down.
