Question HFL suddenly not accepting incoming calls

I have a red '07 w/tech. I bought a Sprint Motorola Razr a few weeks ago and paired with the HFL. No problems for first 2 weeks, incoming and outgoing calls were both being ID'ed and I could answer from the steering wheel with no issues.

Last week, I noticed that incoming calls are suddenly not registering on the HFL, I can still call out fine, but when the cell rings, HFL is not recognizing the call. I tried repairing the phone, still not working.

Any suggestions? Thanks - ken

I noticed this was happening now and then with me. Not lately though. My cell was ringing instead of the HFL. I think I fixed this glitch by transferring it again. In other words...when a call comes in, hit the speaker for voice command and say..."transfer" while on your cell, then hang up the cell when it transfers to the car. Hope this works.

Get a different phone? I've been seeing this type of issue for years with bluetooth, devices that seem to be at opposite ends of the bluetooth specification that work for a while and then stop, or work sporadically.

It's most likely more of a device (phone) issue. My blackjack has been working since the first time it paired up; as soon as I start the car, I can see the telephone symbol on the display, and my phone has activity (lights up).

There were certain phones that I use to use, which had poor conectivity with a particular headset. After switching phones (gsm phones are fun to swap), I found out that certain devices perform horribly, and others perform flawlessly.
