Hi all,

I have a 08 rdx tech. Recently, i have noticed that the HFL isn't working/activated when the car is start in the cold weather (maybe 15 degrees). I can press the talk button, and no beep or anything. However, after like 5mins or more after driving around, the HFL starts working again. I noticed this isn't a problem if it's not that cold outside (35 degrees)

 

not to be simplistic, but it sounds like it might be a connection problem with the switch for the phone.. if it is cold enough that the contacts aren't meeting when you press the switch, then you won't get the results... after a while, when the car warms up, the contacts meet and viola... you can make phone calls. I have no idea if this theory is correct, but it seems to make sense

 

Hi aznkingnivek, did you managed by any chance to resolve the issue w/HFL? Coz I have exactly the same problem on my 08 mdx. From time to time NFL after starting the car do not respond for about 5 min. In addition to that insteed of talk button I'm using back button. Wondering if that's just poor/missed contact or the software?

 

i have same problem 07 rdx, mostly when i press the button the radio turns off, but not beep and it kind of hangs for 5-10 secs, then usually frees up
