Not sure on your vehicle or type of system you have; but, it depends on your Navi system:
Hard-drive based navi: NO
The Acura DVD update is only for one vehicle because you have to submit your VIN, Device ID, and Database version to get back a passcode to enter to update the database on the hard-drive. Then the system uses XM satellites to finish downloading the rest of database updates.
CD-ROM based navi: Kinda Yes
The CD-ROM navi system reads data from the disk as the systems works. No disk, no navi. A way to use the disk on two vehicles is if you have two vehicles that take the same color navi DVD disk for the CD-ROM system. You could pass that disk down to the other car IF you purchased the 2018 Navi update for the other vehicle AND the vehicle receiving the 2017 disk has a pre-2017 database map installed.
This is what I do for my 06 TSX and 08 RDX that take the same navi DVD update disk every 2nd or 3rd year. I just update one with the new disk and pass the old disk down to the 2nd vehicle
