Bluetooth and USB Connectivity Nightmare - HELP
Hi everyone, brand new to these forums because I have given up after almost a year of trying to figure this problem out. I have a 2012 RDX fully loaded with tech package. I have an iPhone 7. The HandsFreeLink seems to work ok with phone calls. However, if I stream music through Bluetooth Audio, the music will periodically just cut out and restart about 10 seconds later. You can see the bluetooth logo up next to the clock display in the RDX blink off and then turn back on, as if the Bluetooth is disconnecting and reconnecting. I don't have issues with Bluetooth on my iPhone, so I narrowed it down to an issue with the RDX.
The second issue, likely unrelated, is the USB. If I connect my iPhone to the USB using a genuine Apple Lightning cable, every once in a while the small display with the clock will flash UNSUPPORTED and I'll have to unplug and replug my iPhone for it to work again, and then it'll work fine from there. Again, I have no issues with USB connections with my iPhone in any other vehicles/devices.
I have tried speaking to Acura about this but they never seem to understand the issue. Does anyone have any idea as to what's going on? Where is the Bluetooth audio module located in case I need to replace it?
Thanks!

Not sure 🤔, I have a 2009 I don’t have Bluetooth streaming or a usb connection to my audio system. In my truck there is a toe kick panel in the passengers footwell. It’s on the left side by the center tunnel.

Seems to be a somewhat common compatibility issue between Acuras of that time period and iOS users (lucky no issues with my 2010 tech and wife's iPhone 8 so far). Below is just one of many threads out there on this very site.
