Hi all. I managed to snag a mint 2010 RDX and I was super pumped about it until I discovered the shot HFL bluetooth module which has a parasitic drain of 240 mA, leaving me with a dead battery fairly quickly. Disconnecting the HFL has a draw of 20 mA. Definitely the HFL gone bad.

Not really in the mood to replace it for $500 USD. This really seems like an issue Acura should have taken care of, especially since it can leave drivers stranded. I digress.

I understand USA spec BT45-Hon3 does not work for this year. So far I've discovered:
-Grom - GROM-BT3
-isimple -ISHD651
-NavTool??

What's the best option? Looking for the most stock functionality, steering wheel buttons, etc. Any enhanced functions (text display, etc.) would be considered a bonus.

 

I think someone had success with a cheaper Canadian market unit?
