For you "older" RDX owners, and classic rock fans, the Bealtes "Love" album came out this week. There is a "deluxe" edition that includes a "real" DVD-A disc with the entire album in 5.1 surround. It's a mixture of complete tunes and "mixed up" sounds and passages. Very strange, but incredible sound.

Of course, the tunes are almost 40 years old, so your results may vary!

I picked it up last week at Best buy. It was onsale for $14.99. Good deal as you get the regular CD version and the DVD-A version. The DVD-A version sounds fantastic.

 

I have to agree with the OP on this. I bought the CD/DVD combo and it sounds awesome in dolby 5.1 surround. If you love the Beatles make sure you buy it.

 

Got it today, sounds great. I wonder why the fancy sound system doesn't
display the track titles? Shouldn't it pick that up off the DVD?
