Is there any way to make the controls for navigation/phone work while driving? I like this way for the passenger or myself to navigate instead of voice controls.

I can change nav with my 2010 while driving. Did they change it with the newer years?

Yea I'm a tad stumped by the OP's question. I know congress is looking into a law to have cars lock out using nav while the car is in drive.

yes, so the navigation still works and directs me and i can do new destination via voice but not by the main controller knob. i cant even scroll through my phonebook while driving.

Hmmm. Just got an '07. Gonna have to test this now and see...

I can use mine when driving, but not a very safe way to navigate though can voice navigate. Phone is much easier and safer from the steering wheel with use of voice commands. Better to just pull over and do all you need then drive.
