Any way to keep 1 12V live all the time?

In my Passat, I could charge things (phone and accessories) with engine off. I liked that. It seems these 12Vs turn off with the engine. Is there any way to override that? tx

It can be done with a bit of hard wiring, in that you would disconnect the positive to the receptacle and then connect it to a positive source that is always live.
