I have had a brand new (2 months old) 2012 RDX with Tech Package and I use my Ipod via USB quite a lot. It is great, mostly. But once I lost control of songs, of Ipod menu etc, and no data was displayed on screen. Ipod just kept playing the last song selected and I could not change anything; tried disconnecting USB, powering off etc, no luck. Then after leaving RDX switched off for about an hour or so, it all worked agin. Any ideas? Anyone had this problem?

 

I am trying to find out if anyone is seeing the issue I am having with my RDX and the iPod usb connection. It worked fine until suddenly one afternoon when it stopped playing through the speakers. The audio menu can see the ipod but it cant select a song and play it. It is so weird. Tried a new usb cable. The dealership said to disconnect the ipod for a while and then try again. Sounds like an RDX bug.

 

More research on the Acura site led me to believe it could be a disconnect between the ipod software and the RDX. Tested both an iPod Nano, which still did not work, and an iPhone using iOS 5. The iPhone works. It is apparently a software issue. Not sure if that will help or not.
