2007 RDX Aftermarket Audio Install?

Just bought a used 2007 RDX Tech, the audio is shot. Sounds like crap and I really don't want to replace with oem speakers. Anyone can guide me to upgrading all these speakers? I know aftermarket stereos are a nightmare for this vehicle, so ideally I'd like to -

1. Keep the factory radio
2. Replace all door speakers (I could care less about the center)
3. Add a Amp+Subwoofer

Is it possible to add 2 Amps? One for voice and one for subs? Looking for the cleanest install, I hate external boxes. If I could install new speakers in the door and have it powered with another amp than the factory that would be great. Please advise.

From everything I've seen, the speakers in the Tech Pack are pretty good for a factory setup. Not saying they don't fail, but chances are the factory amplifier is the source of the issues. The ones in this car are notorious for going bad with age. I swapped mine out with another factory unit when I bought the car, and this one is now going bad too. You can tell they are on their way out, as when it gets cold outside, they will pop and crackle on startup, and the radio will take 10+ minutes to be able to be audible, as the car and interior warms up.

Phantom Audio sells a plug and play upgrade. Takes the factory amp, guts it, and installs modern internals for an upgraded sound. Planning on getting one soon.
