Im new
An old gear head that just traded in an Infinity QX4 on a one owner 2007 RDX Tech package. Just discovered I am not alone with 5 of my speakers blown. . Looking to see if I should replace with factory or otherwise.

I'm going to move this thread over to the 1G RDX Audio forum so you can hopefully get some answers to your question. However, if your Tech package is anything like the one on the 2G TSX, it's got low impedance speakers which severely limits the aftermarket options.

If the speaker size / specs are the same for the ELS for all 1G RDX, I would think OEM will be fine. I have only heard of speaker issues primarily with the 07-08 RDX, and my 2010 tech sounds perfect still. Seems maybe the part itself was revised at some point, even if the part# may not have changed.
