Who noticed rust spots on their Chrome tail pipe fittings?

Man, I really really dislike winter...

After detailing the car, I looked at the tail pipe, and was surprised how much rust spots were on those chrome fittings!

I used Mother's Chrome polish and was able to remove like 90% of it, but some stubborn rust grit is still stuck on it. Will try again tonight to see if I can remove most of it.

anyone knows of a better product that simply dissolves away rust spots on chrome?

I've got it. Is this something that would be covered by warranty?

GRRRRRRRR. No rust spots on my Saturn's chrome dual exhaust and it's six months older! I have noticed the pipes on my RDX starting to rust. Not serious but headed that way.

I am relatively new to this threads, but I have come to notice the "Saturn" guy....this is an Acura site, there may be better and worse cars that it, but this is not the place to talk about them...I don't mind if people say that the RDX is bad, it is their opinion (I am not too happy about certain things), but please lets ALL of us stop comparing it to other cars and saying "that didn't happened to my Ford Pinto" or "G my 1977 Caprice had more back seat room" because this is not the place...

^^^^^
We had another one who went by "Above Prime" who was the official CX7 fanboy. They eventually get tired of all the flames they receive and they just go away.

The Plainsman is simply just being immature and "brat-like"... but he does have the right to say what he likes...

Only thing is, he does not realize that the points he is making regarding his solid Saturn and lousy Acura, is coming across as really childish and gives many of us the impression that he has no real life, and thus has to use a venue such as this forum to act out his "fantasies"...

So, we either simply ignore him or if the moderator so chooses, removes him from the site...

Plainsman, as a guy who defended your earlier posts regarding Acura vs. Saturn, I gotta say after catching up on a couple weeks worth of topics on the forum that you really like to stir sh-- up. I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish but all you're doing is managing to piss people off.

There was another poster last year...like blacklabel said...."AbovePrime", who didn't even own an RDX, and eventually ended up getting band (I think?) because his posts degenerated into asinine comments about the CX-7 being better. You have an RDX and I'm guessing you still have it for a reason...so why be a hater all the time? The RDX isn't perfect, but it's far from being the P.O.S. you're making it out to be.

Yeah AbovePrime was exactly the same, shitting on the RDX at ever chance he or she could.

I dont mind the negative comments with regards to the RDX, no car is perfect but to make a post about a windshield as the reasons why the RDX quailty blows etc. thats when I feel that its just an attack statement just to get other owners stired up.
