What should I lube this with?

What should I lube this with?

The little CV joint at the base of the steering shaft, right before it connects to the power steering rack's pinion. Sorry for the bad pic (didn't feel like removing the boot).

My first thought is WD40, but maybe there's something more appropriate. After replacing my power steering rack I still get a minor-ish squeek when turning the wheel, so I'm guessing this joint needs some love.

The squeak may just be from the rubber seal and if it is then a silicone-based lube for rubber, silicone spray would be good.

silicone spray would be good.

It sounds more like a metal-on-metal squeak, but that's too easy so I'll try it and report back.
