What have you done to your RDX today?

what year is it? because it doesnt exist for the 2010 - the front spoiler looks so good i thought it should have been part of the stock design, i wouldnt own an RDX without it. just wish the fogs were smaller & gave the front less bug eyes & matched the hids, when the lights are on there are 3 different color headlights lol

today I had the tranny and diff fluids both changed while I was at lunch.
Hondata reflash coming next week, as well as some new tires (yet to commit to which ones yet)

Today I washed my car, clayed it, and then applied KLASSE sealant on it, followed by buffering it out with carnuaba spray wax. 1 full hour of work. The claying was the easier part, applying the sealant was also easy, but man, buffering it was the real chore.

i did the hondata flashing finally!! real improvement in acceleration, feels smoother too in the city. i can get the turbo to spool 50% at standstill compared to 25% before. haven't had the chance to play with it but it was worth the work. i really wish i could make the steering lighter and less numb i am not sure as how i should do that. also thinking of buying new softer shocks, lowering the vehicle, and adding new 19" wheels.

the 07 has the 'stiffer' steering. It got softer / lighter in 08, but after driving an 08, I liked the 'heavier' feel better.
Exciting to hear about your reflash. Mine is early next week.
Did the re-flash change your oil life remaining on your display, or does that only get affected if you change your ECU rather than just re-flash the same ECU?
Love to hear about your MPG since the change, and if it runs hotter or not?
Very cool!

had to do an oil change anyway so didn't really care. as for mpg i haven't seen any difference yet and engine coolant temperature is same as before. the most noticeable difference for me is how early the turbo kicks in, still not as early as in the 335i my friend has but its good enough. Another good thing is the increase in high end power. in s mode you can rev it to 7200rpm, sounds really good and it was scary when i tried it today lol. oh and the turbo is noticeably louder at higher rpm. this is i think the biggest upgrade i have ever done in my life for 600 bucks. i might change the exhausts too with magnaflows down the road.

will dealer flashes erase the hondata flash? seems like an ignorant question, but when I was driving my Evo, the Mitsu factory tech's could detect the flash, void the warranty, and then of course copy over the flash if an update was required. . .seems like a worthwhile upgrade (I might do it after my factory warranty runs out in a few years!)
Any data on a 2010 RDX with the hondata?

ya the dealer can reflash your ecu. hondata in that case will charge you 75 for reflashing it again. I don't really go to my dealer anymore doing everything either myself or at my friend's auto shop. the maintenance code warnings are always a pain in this vehicle though
