I still haven't seen one in person, much less driven one, so I don't really know yet.

Most of the people here haven't been able to drive one yet... just the Acura dealers who made it to a ride and drive, and I believe one or two people have already posted in other threads that they were able to test drive in in the past day or two.

dad got one tonight.

im in love with it, minus the soccer-mom exterior.... but its the pop. genre it appeals to. i feel its a great alternative to the x3 or infiniti

i do, however, thoroughly dispise the turbo lag, but it comes with the territory...

all in all, GREAT tech in a great car by a great manufacturer

Thumbs up RDX impression

GREAT!
It had a tight feel to the ride with very little roll, the turbo is smooth and consistent. The DVD audio is amazing just like the TL/RL. The seats are extremely comfortable and the seats in the rear are comfortable too. SH-AWD works well, and the paddle shifters are fun!

rxd in cincinnati

I drove one today after waiting a year and a half and was underwhelmed. It drove ok and looked ok, but neither was great. Back seat should recline it doesn't, storage comp. only opens toward driver, pass. cannot get in. I didn't like the wine of the engine, or the lag.I can get by with no self dimming mirror, and I can get by without memory seats or power seat for pass. But I certainly couldn't make a decision on a $40,000 car in the 15 minutes I was allowed to drive it in. I told the salesman I needed more time than that in the vehicle, he said that was impossible because this (rdx) was in such high demand! Could be months he said, ok I said I'll wait three months. Oh, he said it could be much longer than that. Because this car is special, he was surprised they were letting anyone drive it because of its high demand, they just usually sold them (the high demand ones) without a test drive. Really? Sad to say not the first time I heard this nonsense. I said oh well and went and looked at an infinity vex 35. Well they leased me one for a year for $299 (plus tx $318). So I have a year to look. It does take corners well, it is comfortable and lots of nice toys. Just underwhelming. Like the salesman!

well its good to know. I went to the ride and drive and absolutely drove the hell out of it against the X3. We actually got the X3 to totally come off the course and I couldn't get the RDX to come off. That was probably the most impressive thing about it. Other than that I think it is a nice vehicle and hopefully It will do well. I haven't sold one yet but I hope to soon.

Chicago RDX

just went to the acura dealership and saw one. the one i went to had 3 (2 silver & 1 black).

i must say that it's larger than i thought it would be. interior looks great in person (besides a few cheap looking plastic pieces, i.e. door handles & a cpl dash pieces). Only other aspect of the car that i wasn't too thrilled about was the bumper, but i've known about that since the first spy pics.

other than that, it's a great looking car!

I guess you have to work there to drive one longer than 15minutes?

well, I do work for them but at the ride and drive we only drove them for maybe a minute. It all depends on how fast you make it around the course.

It did totally kill the X3 which I will add is more expensive, has less features and gets lower fuel economy.

We still have only gotten like maybe 3 or 4 in stock and we are doing transmission updates and such on them before we can sell them.
