Greetings!

A friend of mine wanted me to check out her noise coming from the hood. Sounds horrible!
Of course oil was black but the level was correct. Pulled the codes and retrieved "P2646 Rocker Arm Actuator System Performance or Stuck Off Bank 1"
Video here: I googled and it seems to be a issue with the VTEC actuator. Should I start off by changing the oil?
Anyone ever experience this?

 

I noticed no one responded to this, but holy crap, an oil change isn't fixing anything on that at all. I'll bet my next paycheck that says if you were to pull that valve cover off, you would find chunks of metal/valvetrain being thrown around in the head. That engine is toasted mah dude
