Washer Fluid Pump Question

Question: Are there two separate washer fluid pumps for front and rear? - I suspect my front washer pump is dead as no sound is coming when I call for fluid. (Unless it's super silent)

Front wipers work
Rear wiper works
Rear washer, fluid comes out just no problem.

Ruling out:
Freezing - it's above freezing temps where I am + heated garage
Blow fuses - front wiper works so not a fuse problem. (This thread states pump and wipers share fuse 38: https://acurazine.com/forums/first-g...p-fuse-879484/)
Empty Reservoir - rear washer fluid comes out fine.

According to another thread on the same topic, there seems to be only one pump supplying both lines.

There's only one pump and one reservoir for both wiper systems so, you probably have a leaking hose or a defective jet at the front.

Maybe pull one of the supply hoses off at the wiper and turn on the pump again. If it pumps out of the hose, the pump is not the cause.

I use only distilled water to prevent the pump getting crapped up. In colder in places you need to add commercial washer fluid.

Just don't use tap water.

Update: Mechanic suspects a switch that needs replacing. ($27.00 CDN part). Part is on order, so he provided a temporary solution.

The RDX uses one motor for both front and rear washer fluid pumping. This motor rotates in one direction to pump to the front, and in the reverse direction to pump washer fluid to the rear.

As a temporary fix, he swapped the hose from the rear to so it sprays fluid to the front windshield. So... I turn the knob for the rear spray and it comes out the front nozzles then I manually pull the lever down to get the wipers to wipe.
