Service Bulletin 06-027. This service bulletin is for early production 2006 models (those before VIN 5J8TB....7A002336). It is supposed to improve the quality (make it smoother) of transmission shift. My car was produced in first 700 or so and apparently does not have this software patch. Has anyone with early production car had this done? Did you notice any changes? My wife drives the RDX most of the time and I haven't noticed any harsh shifting. She has not complained either.

Bottom line is it worth my effort to take the car in for this fix?

 

if it aint broke, dont fix it, that is my motto...i have 000975 and have not got it, also no problems either!

 

I must be old school, I enjoy being smacked by a gear change, especially when I have the loud pedal booted.

 

I assume you meant 2007. There is no 2006 RDX.

 

I think hes talking about 07's released fall 06 so those ones.

 

2007 is correct. I was reading the service bulletin which was dated 2006 and just wrote 2006 instead of 2007.
