Hello all, hoping for weigh ins on issue on whether to trade in 07 tech w 58000 for a 2012 Rdx w tech or keep 07 upgrade exhaust, add hondata. Wife wants new and feels we would get great trade in value for 07 but I'm not impressed by the 2011 or 2012. I test drove them and the steering is a lot different it felt more 'assisted'. Thoughts and opinions will be greatly appreciated.

 

07 has the best feeling steering for sure. I always noticed a difference when I had a loaner.
If you want RDX, I would keep what you have now and do your mods. Hondata helps a ton.

 

In addition, the 2013 is a COMPLETE remodel. You will be well rewarded by waiting. Think higher fuel economy, increased interior space, hard drive based navigation and more.

I would wait until the 2013 RDX hits the road. Then you can compare the old 2012 RDX vs the new 2013 RDX to see which has better luxury/price/feature. The all new RDX seems like it "might" be released next spring or summer of 2012. There is no downside to waiting.

 

Get Hondata, It will get new life for your 07 RDX.

Everyone thanks for the input, I have started looking into hondata, trying to find a shop near Philly or Va. Does it make a difference if I do the atlp exhaust before or after the hondata?

 

Plus 1 on a Hondata reflash.
I don't believe it would make a difference if you get the Hondata reflash with your atlp exhaust installed already.

I would double check with Hondata just to make sure though.
