took some pics of the RDX before dealership fixes problems

I drove my RDX to the dealership (paragon acura at north boulevard) to have my driver's passenger window and rear right passenger speakers fixed. So, while waiting I got bored and took some pics of the RDX with my iphone. (yeah... it's dirty.. cars here in NYC get dirty quickly. My last car wash was two or three weeks ago)

Yup I purchased my car at paragon acura.

I remember last year I had to get my car repaired because some guy did a hit and run when I was parked at Jones Beach.

I felt the job was rather crappy (pretty sure it was an outside job). They didn't even have the decency to add the miss bumper clips. So whatever, I had my friends (who run a car parts and accessories store) order it for me and re-installed the bumper for me.

Hopefully this time they don't mess up anything.

service by advisors and reps =

quality of job = not so good. <-- based on the first job done on the RDX.

** important!!** AT THIS POINT THEY DO NOT OFFER LOANERS

*sigh* I didn't even get a loaner the first time around. I'm starting to feel that they don't even have loaners to begin with. So Dark Knight, if getting a loaner is a must for you, go elsewhere.

I got my car back today and all problems are fixed. No charge. fully under warranty.

as for service: In person service is great. Telephone service SUCKED!!! OMGGGGGGG It took me 5 calls to get them to tell me that my car is ready for pick up today. First call was at 10:30AM, each time I was promised that someone would call me about the status of my car. At 2 ish I FINALLY GOT MY ANWER AND IT WASN'T BECAUSE SOMEONE CALLED ME BACK.

At least I got my car and that's what matters most. Just parted from my car for the weekend and I missed it so much hahaha.

No Prob. I think you should stick to your dealership at Jersey. The fact that you get a loaner (for sure) is already better. Unless you walking distance from northern boulevard.

wow.. i know there's a charge for not picking up your car after it's ready from being serviced/repaired. But for pick up drop off service? that's unheard of..

Paragon's service dept sucks ass...Had nothing but problems with them when I had my '99TL. They never fixed the problems, but they didn't hav a problem stealing things out of my car while it was there...

I agree, Paragon service sucks. I took my new 08 RDX in to get the top part of the grill fixed (it wasn't glued on properly from the factory and was loose). After 2 hours of waiting, they claimed to have replaced the part, but it was actually a worse fit. During that 2 hours, i noticed my car double parked on the street after an hour, it turns out the car had been repaired and was waiting for the service rep to return it to me...but he was no where to be found. Oh...and no free wash after service! They owe me a detailing but I would need to leave the car for 4 hours. Anyone try Valley Stream Acura or Acura of Brooklyn?

I've heard nothing but nightmare stories about that dealership. I wouldn't step foot in there for any reason whatsoever.

I haven't tried Acura of Brooklyn for servicing, However that was the very first dealership I went to when I was in the market for changing cars. Their customer service is so BAD that it truly made it seem like they didn't want my business. They wouldn't even BUDGE from the MSRP... Paragon Acura has great customer service... Can't say the same for their service department... *sigh*..
