Tires

So my 07 RDX is now hovering around 36,000 miles, and the Michelin’s that are stock on the car look like they maybe around 5,000 miles away from needing replacement.

I wanted to pick the forums brains and get some input on what you guys have replaced them with in terms of alternatives or do you guys replace them with the same type.

I live in Florida and 90% of the years it’s warm or hot, and we get lots of rain.

So with regards to price I checked and the tires that come with the RDX new, usually run close to 1,000 bucks.
So what gives better or similar performance at these price points, and what have you guys replaced them with?

Thanks in advance.

Dio

dio - did you decide on anything?

We will be looking for all season replacements for our 07 in the next month or so as well.

I would look to see if you can get something wider and look for something more performance oriented off tire rack - see their ratings and test results.

245/50/18 or 255/50/18's are within a couple percent of stock.

No decision yet.
I have about another 3 or 5 grand left I was looking to see if people replaced the stock tires with something different and what that might be.
