Looking to see if a 50 inch Thule bar works on an RDX. Thule actually recommends their 58 inch bar but: 1) I already have a 50 inch bar; and 2) I've seen many cases where Thule's recommendation sticks out kind of too far. When I measured with a tape measure it looks like it might work, but admittedly it's close. I want to order everything all at once so I don't yet have the feet to try this out myself. Any help will be appreciated - thanks.
